What We Require Before We Invest
To protect our capital and our investors, SAM operates on strict statutory and geological compliance. Asset owners and brokers must provide a comprehensive Mining Pack comprising the six categories below. Incomplete submissions will not be progressed.

The Six Pillars of Compliance
Corporate Legitimacy
Valid company registration documents. Tax clearance certificate not older than 90 days. Director and shareholder ID documents. Proof of registered business address. All applicable mining, environmental, or FSP licences. BBBEE certificate or self-assessment where applicable.
Unencumbered Mineral Tenure
Registered mineral claim certificates or prospecting rights. Title confirmation free from all third-party encumbrances, liens, or undisclosed production-sharing obligations. Independent legal opinion on title validity. Full cadastral coordinates of all claim blocks. Proof of no court interdicts.
Environmental & Social
Valid Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) or Environmental Management Plan (EMP). Water-use licence or equivalent. Community consultation and consent records demonstrating meaningful engagement. Rehabilitation financial provision evidence.
Certified Geological Data
Independent geological report prepared by a qualified, accredited geologist. Laboratory assay certificates with chain-of-custody from an accredited facility. Geophysical survey data where conducted. Trench or drill-hole logs with lithological descriptions and assay values.
Commercial Viability
Demonstrated off-take arrangements or confirmed buyer relationships. Three-year production forecast with all commodity price assumptions. Capital expenditure budget with supplier quotations. Operating cost model benchmarked against industry comparables.
Business Viability Assessment
A formal written Business Viability Assessment addressing market opportunity, operational risk register, management team capability, regulatory compliance status, and a minimum three-year financial projection — prepared to development finance institution standards.
Notice to Brokers
Brokers must hold a valid signed mandate from the asset owner. SAM reserves the right to engage directly with asset owners at any stage of due diligence. Broker commission is negotiated prior to due diligence and is a private matter between the broker and asset owner. All submissions are treated as confidential. Unsolicited bulk submissions without an owner mandate will not be acknowledged.
Automatic Disqualification
Any of the following will result in immediate rejection with no right of appeal: encumbered or disputed mineral title; tax non-compliance by any director or the entity; no valid environmental authorisation; assay certificates from non-accredited laboratories; production forecasts with no supporting off-take; undisclosed litigation involving the asset, the company, or any of its directors.
